To achieve the neo-minimalist aesthetic of this collection, Francesc Rifé employed a highly complex technical process. The teak wood used (sourced from sustainably managed forests with controlled logging) was turned—as if it were a metal tube—and bent, creating a piece full of expressiveness. Rifé designed a wooden frame that, through a tensioned technical fabric, forms the base and backrest upon which the cushions rest. The result is generously sized pieces.
